Ray LaFore Truck Service Inc. opened for business in 1946 by then owner and founder Ray LaFore Sr. along with his wife Delores LaFore. They had a vision of bringing quality and reliable service to a growing market in Belleville, IL. Primarily hauling coal in the early days, Ray's vision and leadership moved the business into the growing construction market, which is where the company has stayed and thrived. All these years later most of operations are still focused on the construction market.

 

Well over 75 years later the business is now owned and operated by Megan Bertelsman, the third generation of the family. Over the last 20 plus years Ray's original vision has been expanded under Megan's leadership. The addition of tractor trailer end dumps, side dumps, flat bed hauling and lowboy hauling with the incorporation of a large scale borrow pit has all been due to Megan and her team's leadership and innovation.

 

Ray LaFore Truck Service has been and will continue to provide outstanding service in the St. Louis metro area servicing a radius of 150 miles from our location in Belleville, IL. LaFore Truck Service strives to be the first and only call regardless of how big or small our customer's job and needs may be.

LaFore Truck Service has hauling equipment to meet nearly all aspects of construction materials including but not limited to rock, sand, dirt, asphalt, and equipment of all sizes. Whether our customers need thousands of tons of material or just a simple load of rock for a driveway, LaFore Truck Service has the know how, experience, team members and equipment to get the job done every time!
